QSWATPlus39

QSWATPlus39, developed by the SWAT team, is a QGIS-based graphical user interface for the SWAT+ hydrologic and water quality model. It streamlines watershed delineation, hydrologic response unit (HRU) definition, data preparation, scenario setup, model execution, and results visualization within an integrated, map-driven workflow.

Key capabilities:

• Import DEMs and other geospatial layers to delineate streams and subbasins and define HRUs.
• Assemble land use, soil, and weather inputs and automatically generate SWAT+ project files.
• Configure management practices, reservoirs, point sources, and climate or land-use change scenarios, and run multiple simulations.
• Launch SWAT+ runs from within QGIS, track progress with logs, and validate inputs with built-in checks.
• Visualize outputs as maps and charts, including flow, sediment, and nutrient summaries at reaches and subbasins.
• Manage projects and metadata to support reproducible studies and scenario comparisons.
